eMAG - The store for all Romanians

eMag also sells furniture

In the beginning, eMAG was a small online store, specializing in electro-IT products. From then until today, for 20 years, we have sought every day to reach further and always do things better. With a clear mission for our customers and partners, but also for the communities in which we operate: to make available to everyone services and products that support their progress both individually and at the societal level.

The eMAG platform has developed into a complex online commerce ecosystem, offering a wide range of products and services in multiple categories. Whether it's home appliances, fashion, home and garden products, children's toys, cleaning products, cosmetics, car accessories or pet products, customers can find everything they need from over 10 million products available, sold directly by eMAG or by partners through the eMAG Marketplace.

To facilitate the shopping experience and meet the needs of customers, eMAG has also developed a mobile application, launched in 2014. It is constantly improved to provide easy navigation and quick access to products, personalized services, order tracking and payment solutions. The eMAG application has become very popular, and more than half of the orders placed on the platform are made through it.

One of eMAG's strengths is its efficient and flexible delivery system. In 2018, easybox was launched, a collection point network that allows customers to order products and pick them up at any time of the day or night. This helps to reduce traffic in cities and lessen the impact on the environment through lower emissions generated by last mile deliveries. eMAG has also introduced the product return function through the easybox network, offering customers a convenient and fast solution for returning purchased items.

To support the rapid growth of the e-commerce market, eMAG has invested heavily in logistics infrastructure. In 2018, the largest warehouse in Eastern Europe was inaugurated, with an area equivalent to 20 football fields, to meet the ever-increasing demand. In 2020, the construction of a new logistics hub, located at kilometer 19 of the A1 highway, began, which will contribute to the development of online trade in the region. The new logistics hub will have an area of 130,000 square meters and will be able to process up to 500,000 parcels daily.

In order to be as close as possible to customers and to offer them a complete buying experience, eMAG has developed an extensive network of showrooms. They not only allow customers to test products and receive specialized advice, but also offer the possibility of returning products and picking up online orders. In eMAG showrooms, customers can also benefit from additional services, such as lending through the eCredit service or the Buy back program for mobile phones. In order to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety, the showrooms in Bucharest, the warehouses and the headquarters received the DEKRA Trusted Facility certification.

Thus, eMAG has become an important presence in the e-commerce landscape of Central and Eastern Europe, offering a wide range of products, innovative services and efficient delivery solutions. With a vision focused on progress and innovation, eMAG continues to evolve and provide a pleasant and convenient shopping experience for its customers.
